The hemp plants have started becoming very much popular among people after the enactment of the Farm Bill in 2018. Through this bill, the Federal government of America made the cultivation of hemp plants in its national territory legal. However, most people know the hemp plant only as the source of CBD products and hemp oil. The hemp plant is much more than that. Farmers have been using the hemp plant as a crop to restore potential nutrients in the soil for a long time. It is also used by many people to remove soil contamination and to restore groundwater levels.

The hemp plant has a property to absorb minerals from the soil. If the hemp plant is grown in a place that is contaminated with harmful metals and minerals, the plant will absorb everything from the soil along with all the essential nutrients and water. This same property of hemp plant is restricting farmers to use chemical fertilizers and pesticides during its cultivation. If people are using chemical products, the hemp plant will absorb the same and its traces will be visible in all the extracts fro the plant.
